The PowerClaw Latch on all Nanuk cases has been engineered to keep your case tightly closed using compressive force while the integrated slide lock prevents the case from opening during transit or when dropped. Its hard wearing construction ensures your precious items remain secure inside the case, wherever you are.
Nanuk cases are IP67 rated to ensure that your sensitive equipment stays dry and dust free. Watertight to a depth of 1m (3.3ft) for 30 minutes and impervious to dust, the high quality EPDM provides a watertight seal that will last. The integrated auto-pressure valve allows air to pass through while preventing water from entering the case.
Every case in the Nanuk series comes with a soft grip handle, made for maximum comfort and durability. The frame of the handle uses the same NK-7 lightweight and indestructible resin as the body of the hard case. Coated in an impact-resistant soft material, it makes the case more comfortable and easier to carry.
Several cases in the Nanuk range (including all the long cases) come equipped with polycarbonate wheels moulded with polyurethane. The wheels, with their stainless steel bearings, provide smooth quiet mobility, allowing you to easily transport heavy or bulky equipment across various terrains and in all weather conditions.
Transporting equipment is made much easier with the two-stage retractable handle available on several cases in the Nanuk range including the 935, 938, 950 and several larger models. This ergonomic telescopic handle can be adjusted to two different heights and features a quick release button that enables one-handed operation.
Some of the larger models in the Nanuk range such as the 960 and long cases come with two extra-long spring loaded handles that retract on release, reducing the risk of damage during transit. Together with the universal soft grip handles, they make transporting goods comfortable and hassle-free.
For easier access to your gear, all models in the Nanuk range come with a lid stay integrated into the hinge so that the case lid remains open when you need it to stay open, with less chance of the case closing on your fingers. Just one of several innovative features of Nanuk cases.
Nanuk cases come with two padlockable hasps moulded directly into the case. On the wheeled and long models, reinforced metal padlock holes add even more strength. The TSA approved combination padlock is an ideal accessory for frequent flyers to keep your items secure within the case.
The lower half of all Nanuk cases (and the upper half of several models) includes a solid inner lip designed specifically for the purpose of panel mounting. This integrated bezel system lets you secure a faceplate to your Nanuk case without weakening its structure or compromising its water resistance.
Safely stacking cases on top of each other allows you to make the best use of space during transit. Nanuk cases come with integrated feet on the rear of the case, and these interlock with the front of the case, allowing you to stack multple cases of the same size.

For the drop test, weights ranging from 6.8kg to 31.8kg fall onto the case from a height of no less than 48cm. Drop weight is determined by case size

This test determines NANUK's ability to withstand repetitive shocks that can occur during loose-loaded transportation. NANUK stands up to this extreme test of vibration resistance.

Simulated rainfall lasts 20 minutes per case side at a rate of 10 cm/hr. During a second test, rain falls at a rate of 10 cm/hr while the case is heated 18 degrees F higher than the water’s temperature. The second test lasts 4 hours. No water finds its way in.
MIL-STD-810F
The case is submerged in a basin of water 1 m deep for 1 hour. For this test, the case is heated to 40 degrees F higher than the water’s temperature. Again, NANUK easily withstands these extreme conditions.
